Welcome back to my studio! It’s been a long, long time, but I have intentions of populating this blog a bit more regularly.

This image is the right side of the page. I just love the imagery created by Tracy from Art House Whimsy on Etsy. This image is from the Frosty Monarchs collection. I trimmed down and adhered the background digital to both sides of the page. I blurred the background by lightly drybrushing gesso here and there among the trees, and then went over again with white paint. It leaves a soft and ethereal look to the page as if the frost is coming over the landscape. I then added stencilling with molding paste. As always, I like to add a bit of white to the paste, to make sure it dries white. Fussy cutting out the image will probably take the most time I think.
The virtual class via zoom is January 15th at 7:00pm and the in person class is at Paper Art Creations on the 28th. The virtual class has a kit that gets mailed out ahead of time, and it’s $40 through my Shopify or etransfer. Contact me if you need more info. I would love to have you join me!
