This month’s junque journal class is Thursday the 13th at Paper Art Creations in Leduc, AB. I have regular journal classes the 2nd Thursday of each month in person at the store. I prepare 13 kits with product to complete the project, but I always encourage those who come to class to do their own thing and add bits and bobs from their own stash. It makes it unique and original. I used the beautiful paper line Good Life designed by Asuka Designs. She designs collections for Memory Place (Tokyo) and they have a U.S. presence as well. Her designs are awesome and I love working with them.
The type of folio I chose to work with is a folded 8.5 x 11 sheet of designer paper. The extra cut off parts are used as inside pockets. The front flap has a pocket in the front and when folded over it holds the folio closed. The inside of the flap has an uptuck to hold a couple tags.

The inside pockets hold a couple journals and a flippy dippy thingy I made from a single sheet of 12 x 12 paper. Lots of room for decorating and adding additional pockets. flips and flaps. The cut away 3 x 4 panels from two of the sheets in the collection are perfect for adding to it.

Hope you love the journal as much as I do! If I have left over paper I will be doing a video on how I made the project.
Cheers! Create every day!
